We had such high hopes for this resort because of the great reviews. As seasoned travelers to beach resorts, we thought that the management did a very poor job. First, the construction was loud from morning to evening and took up a large chunk of the lobby area so the seatings were limited with people waiting for their rooms to be ready or to be picked up for the airport. It rained a lot during our week there (mid June) and there were no where to sit to escape the extremely loud noise besides our rooms and the packed area at the crepe stand. No activities were planned besides the usual dance class and fitness class. The only place to eat lunch was the main buffet and only half was available at noon (the other half opened at 1pm). They really need to work on alternate plans for rainy days. We saw many people slipped on the walkways because of the type of tiles used. Even though they had tons of beach chairs, not many are in the shade and people leave their towels there to reserve those spots by 10 am. The food was good and the staff was friendly as you would expected at any Riu, Barcelo, Hyatt Ziva, Dreams, etc..
We picked this resort because last year we stayed at Live Aqua and were told at the resort that FCA would be the same amazing resort only allowing families. This is far from the truth. There is construction going on everywhere and you can hear it in your room. Our A/C went out the second day at 9pm and we had to move rooms. I didn't even get an apology, it was more like I was a burden to them for needing to move. The new room had A/C but it was extremely humid in the room and the sheets were damp as well as all of our clothing. It was gross. The food was mediocre and the service wasn't great either. I do not recommend this resort.
"40th birthday trip"
We just returned this past Saturday from Fiesta Americana All inclusive and we are planning a 2nd trip fro next November. The attention to detail and excellent service provided by every single employee there is remarkable. It was a group of 8 people (6 adults and 2 kids). We visited the Miiluma Spa where I had the best Mii Sensation massage from Pilar. I wasn't worried about our 2 kids because they were under the best care at the kids club with Gaby, Nydia, and Jennifer. I would check on them every hour and they were always happy to stay for more. It was a blessings because it rained for 2 days and they were in heaven at the kids. club. I also would like to personally thank our breakfast waiter Kenneth that learned our orders and would bring them out at the perfect moment. The food is much better than all other all inclusives we have visited in the past. Our favorite restaurant was El Mexicano where we were treated like royalty by our waiter Francisco (pancho from Puebla) and we were pleasantly surprised when the executive chef Jonathan came out to check on us. My mother in law, father in law, and mother were also very impressed with our experience. Thank You Fiesta Americana for making my early 40th birthday something to remember.
Had the best time and loved the entertainment staff, shout out to Frida, Eddie, and jack! The food was amazing and the pool was beautiful. Wonderful and Polite staff who made sure everyone was having fun!
"What a blast!"
I've been to a couple all inclusive resorts in Cancun and this is by far my favorite. They had a ton of quality activities like sports, drink making and they put on a party for the World Cup that the entire family could enjoy. The food was also fantastic no matter what place you chose to eat at. Lastly, the staff is extremely kind. We spent a lot of time doing activities so we had a blast with Raul, jack, Freddy and the others learning dances, doing karaoke and other fun activities by the pool. Definitely will be returning here on our next trip!
The Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun All Inclusive is the place to be for fun with family and friends. Guests can build sand castles on the beach, paint T-shirts, play volleyball, water polo, or try out classes in mini-Olympic, kite-making, boat-building, cooking, yoga, or Mayan language. Adults can enjoy evening activities like tequila tasting, dancing to live music or learning Mayan astrology, while the kids have fun at the Fiesta Kids Club or the Teen's Club.
