I stayed overnight on nov 10-11 2018 and Jan. 6-7 2019
To be honest the 1st time it wasn't as smooth as the 2nd time.
My 6th year old daughter left her I-pad charger on the wall and of course I left at 7 am to the airport and I knew I forgot it at the hotel but I thought I lost it forever, to my surprise I received an email from the concierge saying that I left an item behind they could shipped it to my address or they will hold it for 3 months at was up to my discretion.
I was very surprised and very happy.
It is the little things that count that will keep me coming to the same hotel because they care and the great service.
Special thank you to David who did whatever at took to get my charger back, and the bell boy very friendly who took my luggage to the room.
Also to the person who greeted me when I arrived with my mom and brother in a taxi.
I hope everyone else who works there get inspired by their example.
Also thank you to the waiters who were very nice to me & my family. Always smiling and asking if everything was ok or we need it anything else.
Although checking was a little dissapointing due to delays due to room availabitity, the staff made every effort to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Hotel was going some renovations during our time there, but not a major problem.
Beautiful place and friendly but service in general was not good.
1. Check in is at 3pm. We arrived at 5pm and they didn’t have our rooms ready until 7pm. (We had made reservations months before.)
2. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. Ordered steak. Asked four times for knives and didn’t get them until after we had finished eating.
3. For our breakfast buffet, they over-charged us by $100 and it took them until 3pm to correct the overcharge.
4. We ordered churros and ice cream for dessert, room service. Took 40 minutes to come and the ice cream was completely melted. We asked them to bring new ice cream. 40 minutes later we had to call to have them remember to bring the replacement. Came with no spoon. We finally just went down to the bar to get the spoon rather than wait another 40 min and the ice cream to melt again.
Last week we were at the Fiesta Americana Galindo in Queretaro and it was amazing, with terrific service. This one in Boca del Rio is just not good. Beautiful scenery and no one is rude but they just seem not to have a good sense of good service.
"All went as planned"
apart from the sales people, this time our vacations went as expected. We were pleased with little details like small plate of desserts and some cookies we received as well. We think that menu prices are a bit high.
"The food was stunning"
This hotel is the best I've stayed at in Veracruz/Boca del Rio. It has a superb pool, great sea views and amazing lobby area. The room was spot on, nice design, good bathroom with all the amenities and a huge TV. The best thing about the the hotel was its food, especially the breakfast buffet. It was the best I've ever experienced and I've been to a lot of hotels. The location was perfect and the staff were good. The gym was pretty basic and the treadmills were old, and needed replacing if I'm honest. Also the rooms balcony had an annoying water leak but this is just minor complaints. Seriously superb hotel.

Also enjoy the hotel's two recognized specialty restaurants (seafood and Italian cuisine) and many other services: business center, spa, restaurant, cafeteria, gym, beauty salon, tobacco shop, jewelry store, two swimming pools with a Jacuzzi and Pool Bar and 11 meeting rooms.
