Summary of qualifications
"A hotel used for wedings, not suited for the family"
Although the property is beautiful, this is a hotel mostly used for weddings and corporate parties, so there will always be loud noise, drunk people and even fireworks. So if you are being invited to a weeding great, but if you are planning a family vacation please AVOID THIS HOTEL.
This place is like a fairy tale setting. You visit it and you travel through time, movies and fairy tales. It is magical, beautiful and out of this world.
When we visited, a wedding was being celebrated. It felt as if we were in a film with Antonio Banderas who will all of a sudden jump into the middle of the celebration and steel the bride.
Beyond the setting, the food is also delicious. The service is perfect.
I only felt sorry they did not have more explanation about the history of the place and what each current building used to be.
I hope to be back one day and get to spend a couple of nights it that fabulous place.
"Nice place complex for events"
I was there for an event, the hotel is a very nice building, very unique, nice gardens and great service. But as event there is no manager to help you in a situations that happens in an event. In addittion be sure to ask if some parties will take place because can give you a hardtime.
"Wonderful and beautiful"
The hacienda is simply beautiful, the gardens are majestic and the ruins of what was a sugar mill, recreate a magical scene.
The rooms are comfortable and finely decorated with access to terraces to enjoy the beauty of its gardens.
For the gastronomic offer, they have a very good and varied buffet, a la carte food and a menu with seasonal dishes.
Talking about the services, Hacienda San Andrés del Puente has the experience, quality and support of Fiesta Americana. Simply excellent.
"Beautiful Hotel - Perfect for Weddings!"
I had the pleasure of attending my friend's wedding in Cuernavaca, Xochitepec. The historic property was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Everything needed for the wedding was within the property. For me, the main meeting place for the property was the restaurant. There was a variety of dishes, desserts and full service bar. If you preferred wine, there was a menu for that, too. It was open from 7a - 11p everyday! For those who wanted to relax outside by the pools and catch some sunshine, that was available. No need to really venture outside of the venue unless you just wanted to explore. We stumbled across a bakery that had so many Mexican breads, cookies and delicious tortas! The one thing I learned when buying items from the local businesses is that they prefer (and/or only accept payment) in pesos. No problem as I was prepared. All in all, I would definitely recommend this venue.
The hotel offers many ways to relax, entertain and have fun. Stroll through the gardens and be amazed by their breadth and abundance. Take a dip in the pool, unwind in the Jacuzzi or simply take in an afternoon read at the Hortensia Buenrostro Library, an enchanting place where sturdy and comfortable chairs await. We have a game room for our guests entertainment in a family atmosphere with pool tables, ping pong and foosball.
