very nice rooms abd a great staff!!! Luclo Isabel and Arturo were amazing. They helped with what ever you needed.Alejandra was very nice also.My view from room 710 was amazing. great ocean view. The beach was very small and hard to enter the ocean. But every thing else was great.
"Good quality/ price ratio"
3-day Scuba diving trip last week. The room was large and comfortable with a lot of natural light. The buffet and the asian style restaurant were good. I did not try the Italian nor the mexican restaurants but these were given mixed reviews by other divers in our group. The staff is friendy and helpful but seems insufficiently trained. The bartenders at the beach bar are much better than the ones at the pool.
The dive shop (dive house) managed by awesome Raul is very professional and helpful. I have been diving with dive house in cozumel for 5 years and their professionalism is unmatched and consistent.
Fiesta Americana is conveniently located about 20 minutes boat ride of all the main dive sites. The shore dive is good as well.
"Prepare to be Pampered and Entertained!!"
We were served very well during our 10-day visit by all of the staff but the following people at these restaurants went above and beyond to make our visit most pleasurable: FERNANDO at the Peninsula, SYLVIA, BRIE and YAMIREL at the Rosata and El Mexicano, ALEJANDRA, LUCIO (who spoke fluent English), HECTOR, MANUEL, and ARTURO at the Vina Del Mar, and MARCO at the La Cevicheria. The first-come/first-serve cabanas (no fee) on the beach were awesome and servers CARLOS & AARON went above and beyond catering to our every need all day long. The resort is about 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and the cruise ship traffic. Our 1-bedroom accommodation was spacious, very clean and well furnished. All areas of the resort are kept neat and clean daily. Quality entertainment was provided regularly. The decorated 8' kayak filled with fruit floating about the pool for the guests was over the top!! Equipment is provided at no charge for snorkeling right off the beach. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't take long walks along the beach like we are accustomed to doing, but other things made up for that. They make it very easy for you to rent a car, provide a taxi for a trip downtown or go on a variety of excursions. There were a lot of daily activity opportunities provided. Overall, our visit was a good experience! Thanks to all who helped make that possible.
"Relax at the Fiesta Americana!"
The resort is very nice. The service was excellent. The food was excellent at all of the restaurants on the property.. We never had to leave the property for anything except for money exchange. The staff at the beach buffet restaurant was excellent. A big thank you to Alejandra, Lucio, Isabel, Hector, Salvador, Arturo & Manuel. You are a great team.
"Very nice resort"
We stayed in the presidential suite--3 baths, two bedrooms, a private hot tub and deck from which to watch the sunset. It was spotless and comfortable. The food was good and varied. The best part was the staff, all lovely people, especially the wait staff at Vina del Mar: Alejandra, Lucio, Daniella--everyone.
