the good stuff first... AMAZING MANAGER. very clean rooms, great personal (the best). Great location (facing las brisas) The normal hotel staff will do anything to make your stay a great one -
What was a real problem, was the unprofessional, aggressive attitudes of the time share staff - AVOID Them. They say free breakfast, but you have to sit one on one with them - horror! Then they never want to answer your questions when you need an answer - they just string you along - THEY HAVE NO MANNERS. They have a very nice pool side restaurant, but AVOID the pizza - they make and bake the dough in the morning, then just dress it when you want to eat and a quick bake - just a horrible cardboard pizza in the end.
"I just said "WOW!""
It was my first time to visit Acapulco, and I wasn't really expecting anything spectacular since we came from the Philippines, and our beaches are undeniably unbeatable. Yet when I saw the view from our room, I just said "WOW"! It's one of the best views I've seen, and the hotel truly surpassed my expactations. The hotel was the highlight of our stay. The beach is not great, just average(sadly, It's not white sand). Also, the hotel's swimming pool is inviting and big. One thing that I didn't like was that we were required to wear this plastic bracelet throughout our stay. I understand that it serves to be identified as guests of the hotel. But it was just VERY uncomfortable, and it's my 1st time to experience wearing that. Also, don't order the pizza located in the pool area. I didn't mind the price (500 pesos), but the taste was horrible. Breakfast is average, didn't offer a lot of choices. Overall, I would still go back here.
"Beautiful and relaxing!"
We spent 9 days in Acapulco and stayed in three different rooms at the Fiesta Americana. We had 7 nights in our room we booked through our Hilton Grand Vacations club. And the other two night we booked through the hotel because we got in a day early and left a day later. All the rooms were very nice, but bring your EAR PLUGS! Each room was loud. You can hear everything on the street and on the weekends the party starts at midnight and goes until 5:30 a.m.!!!! We stayed on the 19th floor for 6 nights and could still hear everything. And this is during slow season. The pools are beautiful and provide plenty of lounge areas. The service is great too. The concierge- Diana Diaz was very helpful as we had a few issues with luggage and scheduling reservations at the water park. Take advantage of the spa. They have lots of treatments and I had one of the best massages I have ever had by Ines.
"Great Experience. First rate at a great price!"
We had initially begun our vacation in Acapulco in a different hotel, but were disappointed with those previous accommodations. We went walking around to look at other options and found Fiesta Americana. Their quality of service and cleanliness of facilities and attention to detail made me feel like it was on par with anything in the U.S. It was really a step above the other hotels in the area. We had a great experience with them and I wouldn't hesitate to stay their again or recommend them to a friend.
"Fantastic Service - Xtra clean rooms"
