"Old and Outdated"
This hotel is in bad shape and needs a major renovation. The carpet was dirty and was not properly installed (the carpet was cut too short and did not meet the threshold for the bathroom and was unraveling - you could see some padding and the cement floor beneath it). On other sections of the carpet, there is paint or caulk spatter. The bathroom is tiny and completely outdated. It (and the hotel room in general) is on the border of unclean due to age and build up of dirt. The tub backs up as soon as the shower is turned on and after a request to get the drain cleared, it was not any better. It actually made us not want to shower or use the bathroom unless absolutely necessary. If we had not been traveling with a group of people where the rooms were booked for us by one of those traveling with us, we would have checked out and moved to a different hotel. I would rate this on the low end of a 3 star hotel. The pictures on the hotel website are not representative of our room or the two other rooms that members of our group stayed in.
"Terribly RUDE staff"
The location was good and I was there for business. Some, not all but some of the staff are so rude, its mind blowing that they work in a HOTEL INDUSTRY, hospitality. Gabriela and Lily in the Concierge lounge are so rude. You bother THEM when you walk in Gabriela should never be in hospitality. That was my first impression and upon leaving and getting help with my bags I was told by Osvaldo the bell boy that I dont own the hotel and he will say when and where bags are held. One concierge Jesús is unhelpful. So my beginning and end were awful. I spent way too much money and Osvaldo said YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY GUEST THAT SPENDS MONEY HERE! Wow!!!! First day and last day horrible,,,,find somewhere else. WAY over priced! Rooms are old and outdated
"Over priced "
I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of the month. Rooms are really old and outdated. Air conditioning didn’t work properly. Took about 20min for the hot water to heat up when I wanted to shower. Gym was ok. It had to argue with the staff to turn on the sauna for me. The restaurant in the hotel was far too expensive. The hotel is in a Good location, but I won’t stay there ever again.
"Very good hotel - central and great value "
Having stayed here for 4 days, I can confidently say - this hotel is really good. Although clearly not new, it’s kept in a very good condition - rooms are clean, well equipped and taken care of. The highlights to me were the breakfast and the gym. The breakfast (I had the buffet at Cafe Reforma, but if you’re staying in one of the top floors, you can use the cafe on the 22nd floor) has a fantastic offer of fresh fruit, local and European cuisine. Really difficult to choose from:) Beware that depending on which dishes you choose, you could be charged more or less (there is apparently a cheaper cold buffet and a more expensive warm one). The gym really surprised me - spanning over 2 rooms, it offers a lot of equipment - for cardio as well as for weightlifting.
"Great Location, Amazing Staff"
This is the second time we stay at this hotel. It’s an older hotel that needs some upgrading but overall it’s in acceptable conditions. Location is great! The staff is amazing. They are always friendly and with a great smile when helping their guests.
