Summary of qualifications
"Loved my too few days here"
Stayed here 3 nights after staying in a budget hotel downtown which was just ok. I loved this place and would return here again. I've stayed at villa premiere, whose food I would rate higher just because it's more fusion gourmet style but some food at Fiesta was outstanding like the poached fish, made to order quesidillas for breakfast, carne asada, desert day in the lobby made by the head pastry chef outstanding, but this place was so relaxing with its beautiful grounds in front and back, much larger pool, much nicer hotel room, no reservations for dining, a decent lounge, and fun activities like salsa lessons, tequila tasting, and fun entertainment sometimes at night. We enjoyed the band one night we were there with a trumpet player and female singer. Everyone had fun dancing.
The staff were very accommodating, polite and sweet. I felt bad when the ATM ran out of money for 2 days so we couldn't tip.
Not adults only but didn't even notice since the children area was further away from the bar area and well behaved.
This hotel/resort really tries to give you an exceptional experience. Well done!
"Excellente, great vacation location"
We are so happy we chose this location and this hotel. Miriam at the front desk was great, she showed around and explain every little detail for us. Thank you! Food was ok-great, depends were you ate. Breakfast buffet was great, but lunch at the same location wasn't that good. We didn't mind Italian neither Mexican. But Asian was 5 star, including service. They had Indian, Japanese, Korean and everything between, starting from hostess to restaurant manager, everyone very friendly yet polite. Food quality was fresh, beautiful and tasty plates. There was pool chair was happening every morning, which kind of just made us laugh and choose beach location, not only bc it wasn't as loud, but no kids. We explored the town ourselves, by walking, taking a local bus and renting a car for 2 days.
"Best service "
We enjoy coming to Mexico for the weather and the unparalleled service. This place is up there in our top 3! Not a day of disappointment. Our pool guy was Alan B made sure we were always taken care of and nothing was short of excellent. We love this place and thank you Alan B.
This was our first all inclusive experience. I was very hesitant as I have heard of bad experiences.Food was great and lots of it. Staff was outstanding.Shout out to Miguel, Sergio,Rafeal and Alfrado who were out of this world on service. This resort will not disappoint. The only thing I could say negative about is the pillows.
"Good vacation for the price."
So I've been back from this resort and it's with mixed reviews. I've been waiting to write a review to see if my thoughts have changed but they haven't. So here goes;
There are positives and negatives to this resort.
The positives are that the food is amazing especially the different daily speciality lunches and speciality dinners.
The location is perfect to us as well as its minutes from the airport and a short cab ride down to the malecon. There are also two malls within a 5-10 minute walk so that you can go shopping or if you want to leave the resort.
Service is pretty good and I say pretty good because I would say most servers try and get to know you with special shout outs to Rosa in the lobby bar, Emilio at the pool and the team of Armando, Sergio and memo at breakfast. They really tried to get to know us and provided excellent service.
The rooms were clean however our fridge was never restocked in a whole week even though we asked on numerous occasions which leads me to the cons of the resort.
The drinks although readily available being an all inclusive are simply to strong. And I know that seems like a good probably to have, it really isn't. Many people I was with and at the pool could not even drink the drinks because the bartenders simply filled your glass with alcohol and barely any mix. In a all inclusive type situation I would rather have drinks being made properly and order as many as I want rather then a drink that's 90% alcohol and 10% mix that I have to choke down.
The biggest con I found from many of the guest was the lack of music and activities around the pool and resort. Around noon there was water aerobics and they had a bigger speaker and some music which livened the place up but as soon as that was done they took music away and there was nothing going on. I had a little portable speaker for the people in my section to listen to and I was told to turn it off as it was not allowed. There was the "pool police" as we called them basically not allowing anything to happen in the pool. No throwing of balls. No floaties and no music. Which is fine but then the resort needs to come up with some activities for guest.
This leads into night. There was one show the whole week we were there and it was on the same night as the casino night. Makes no sense that they would have two things on the same night then basically nothing for the rest of the week other then a band in the lobby bar a couple of nights.
Now keep in mind this is all constructive criticism because we did have a good time and would go back for the same price for sure but I feel with these couple of changes it could make this place top notch!
