What a lovely place to stay and our room was beautiful and spacious and clean with excellent views of the bay
Can’t complain and there is easy beach access too. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and we felt right at home
It’s Also a safe place so don’t let anyone put you off Acapulco
Just came back from a great vacation! The hotel is right in the middle of the action, close to great restaurants, shops and bars.
Having small kids, we were afraid about all the reviews mentioning the noise at night, but it wasn’t too bad. The hotel has a live band on Fridays and Saturdays that plays music until midnight, that you can hear a little bit; however, we were able to sleep with no issues.
One of our favorite perks was the Kids Club - my kids were eager every morning to go in there and play with Perla and Teresa. They would do arts and crafts and had the best time. Thank you ladies for everything you do!
We look forward to come back and see all our friends.
"Great Place-If you can Sleep!!"
Our family of 4 (our kids are teenagers) visited Acapulco for our spring break and used our Hilton Vacation Club to stay at Fiesta Americana. The property is in a great location-close to lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. The pool areas are great and it wasn’t crowded. The rooms were a little dated but overall, very nice. The staff was amazing and so accommodating. Juan at the pool was so helpful, as were all of the pool staff. Great prices for food/drinks and quick service. We really enjoyed the daytime at Fiesta Americana!!
The nighttime was super LOUD!! The hotel is literally surrounded by beach bars who play loud dance music all night-10pm until 6am!!! It is so loud that you can literally feel the bass in your room and hear the crowd and lyrics. It was really tough to sleep-especially on the weekends. If you stay here-be prepared!!!
Overall, we had a great week at Fiesta Americana and hope to return to Acapulco soon. There are very few Americans-which is too bad because it’s a beautiful destination with the nicest people.
While the staff was superb, both friendly and helpful, the resort itself was a huge disappointment. Everything was run-down, especially our room. The cabinet doors were ill fitting, the microwave didn't work, everything needed a good patching and paint job, etc. The resort blasted music at all times during the day and night, making sleep nearly impossible. There were never enough lounge chair around the small pools. The restaurant food was sub-par. All of this added up to us leaving four days early. It just wasn't worth it to stay any longer. Huge Spring Break disappointment.
"GREAT HOTEL, GREAT STAFF, WELL SITUATED PROPERTY"
we really enjoyed our time there as everything was well managed and maintained. We did not eat at the restaurants as we prefer to cook what we buy in the markets (under cabinets need more light for evening meals) but everything there looked and smelled good. We did order a DELICIOUS room service our first night. The local discoteques are VERY loud most nights, but the front desk will provide ear plugs if you ask - and we slept well.
