Stayes for 3 nights while on work at mexico city. The location of this hotel is best. Right on reforma u can have mexico skyline. During my visit was halloween so reforma st was full of colourful people. The hotel is pretty old and rooms especially bathrooms have old amenities. Also it dont have a swiming pool. Its a 4 star
"Very nice for the price, but needs upgrades"
I stayed here two nights and enjoyed my stay. Very friendly staff and attentive. Rooms are ok, but dated. They look a bit tired and bathrooms really need new appliances. Grear views of the city. Will stay again on a future trip.
This is our 3rd time using this hotel. It is a little dated but the service at concierge/reception and at breakfast was very good.Miriam and Carla were so helpful,pro-active and professional- even getting a pencil sharpener for me when my lip pencil needed sharpening. What service!
Raphael at the in-house travel agent was extremely informative and helpful.Fiesta Americana staff here and elsewhere, on the whole, are well-trained, friendly and helpful.
The location is within 10-15 mins.by taxi of main tourist attractions in the Zocalo and Zona Rosa.Limosines from hotel to the city centre were 150-180 pesos.Pink and white taxis were 100-150 pesos. These are safe to use and are metered with driver i.d..
Rooms are comfortable and clean. We were on the 14th floor. The negative about this hotel is the constant road noise even during the early hours. The most annoying being the ambulance/police sirens even at 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning- but still a good option for Mexico City sightseeing.
"Clean and safe hotel"
I would recommend this hotel for its location, price and service. The beds were very comfortable. The furnishings are not modern, but the room was clean and, as tourists, we didn't really spend much time there. Every room has a safe. We were on the eighteenth floor and had a good view of the city. There is a Starbucks on the ground floor, and there are stores and restaurants across the street. At first we were going to stay at a much more expensive hotel, but I'm glad we ended up here; the location was much better for us. The staff was very courteous and helpful. There is a money exchange window inside the hotel.
"Clean and comfortable beds"
The hotel seems to be in need of a total renovation. Especially the plumbing should be updated. The location is however, good and the service excellent. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh food. Especially the selection of fresh juices available is excellent.
