"A wedding to remember!"
I cannot say enough good things about this resort. The service is top notch, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, the food is delicious, I could go on and on. My husband and I got married here in April and traveled with a group of 30 of our closest friends and family. From the moment everyone arrived, the resort greeted us all and ensured we had everything we needed. The mini bar was always stocked and bottled water was always readily available.
Although the children's pool area is in the same area as the resorts main pool, we never really noticed the area being over run by screaming kids. There was never a day we had to rush down to the pool to lay our towels out either. We could easily stroll to breakfast and head over to the pool around 11 and would be able to find a place to lay out. If the main pool is not your cup of tea, the recently opened Sonne Beach Club offers an adults only pool area that is to die for. There is an additional cost to access the adults only area ($15/person), but if you are staying in a club level room (floors 8 or 9) you can access the area for free! But even with extra charge, each of our guests thought the cost was well worth it for the additional privacy and more exclusive service from our favorite waiter Nacho.
The grounds of the hotel are also beautiful. Everything was very clean and the staff really goes above and beyond to create a peaceful and relaxing experience for you. The lobby palapa gets a great breeze and makes for a wonderful area to relax with an afternoon or evening cocktail with friends or your special someone.
The food doesn't disappoint either, although I must admit I stuck mostly to the Mexican food while there. The morning breakfast buffet offered something for everyone. From a beautiful fruit selection, to Mexican favorites like chilequiles, to an omelet station, soups, juice bar, cereals, and finally the wonderful pastry selection, you will find something for whatever your mood might be. Room service could be a little slow, at times taking 45-60 mins for delivery, but the food there was just as good as if you got it downstairs.
This was our first visit to the PVR area and I have to say Fiesta Americana has really set the bar high. We have already been exploring coming back!
"Rafael, Polo, Miguel and Cesar treat you like a king"
We just went to the Fiesta Americana in may 2018. We have been there several times. The staff is awesome Especially Rafael and Cesar on the 8th and 9th floor. The new adult only pool is nice but floor gets really hot and cabanas are over priced. The combination of the 2 best pool waiters Polo and Miguel aley makes everyday great. The food is good the staff makes you feel like family and the whole resort is just awesome. The only bad thing I could say is the rooms could use updating and it would be nice if the TV had a few more English speaking channels. The hotel is in a good location for short taxi ride to marina or malecon.
"Great staff and hotel ... great vacation"
Loved the beautiful hotel and gracious staff. A nice blend of families, singles, and retirées. Greeted each morning for breakfast by attentive Raphael and Cesar. Paulina served as a wonderful and engaging activities director. Learned how to make Paella. Had to return to Atlanta two days early due to a family emergency. The concierge(Marianna) and receptionist(Alejandra) along with her manager were very helpful in arranging a hasty return trip to Georgia.
Plan to go back.
"My husband and I got married here and stayed at the resort with 30 of our closet family & friends and had the best time!"
I recently got married at Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All Incisive and Spa and it was amazing. My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a little over a week and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was exceptional. We had an amazing time. All of our family and friends who joined us stayed at Fiesta Americana as well and had an amazing time. The resort is beautiful and in a great location, close to the airport. Sinai Martinez helped with all of the wedding accommodations and was wonderful to work with. She made sure everything went according to plan and that all of our guest were happy with their stay. David at the front desk made sure everyone was welcomed and taken care of from the moment they arrived at the hotel. Rafael, who we saw in the morning at breakfast and at the happy hour on the 9th floor, was always there to help and make sure we were having a great time. Genardo was kind and helpful with our bags. Gio and Angie were a lot of fun at all of the different activities he was a part of like water aerobics, bingo and craft activities. The Sonne Club was peaceful with and ALL of the staff there were so nice and gave exceptional service. The food was great. No complaints. Will definitely go there again!
"Very nice if not looking for peace and quiet"
Our first experience with "All Inclusive". I am fully retired at 66 and my wife works tax season, but is off now so we travel in early May to get away from the cold and wet of the Oregon coast. Anyway, we find many pros and a couple of cons to this experience. If you are like us and are seeking out peace and quiet and relaxation, you should read this.
The "all inclusive" thing is pretty nice, in that all of your food and drinks are gratis, though I hated wearing the hospital bracelet. The abundance and variety of the food was exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the Mexican and Italian restaurants and the buffet for breakfast and lunch had a great selection of fresh food to appease most appetites.
During the beach and/or pool time, there are a grill, cevicheria and bar that you won't have to visit if you want to just lounge, as there are several 'servers' who make it their business to insure you have whatever you want to eat or drink. Our favorite servers were Miguel (aka Brad Pitt) who works the beach chairs, and Rafael, who works the deck chairs between the beach and pool. They were both a lot of fun and very attentive as were all of the staff.
The room service was prompt and the maids were quick and efficient.
This place clearly has an exceptional management team, as all of the staff are well trained and seem to enjoy their jobs.
Also a shout out to Monserat, who works the bar in the evening and the coffee shop during the day. She was exceptionally friendly and fun.
There was some very festive and entertaining shows on a couple of evenings, accompanied by grills, and all sorts of great meats and side dishes including some fresh caught and grilled red snapper which was delicious. I only wish the shows were earlier in the day, because some people like us like to retire early and we could hear everything going on outside from our 3rd floor room. Which would be my segue into the cons.
If you are looking for peace and quiet. Do not stay here.
There is a constant barrage of music, events, etc which are clearly heard in all parts of the hotel, especially in our 3rd floor room. We like to go to bed early, so had to wear earplugs and use sleep aids to combat the noise. All of the restaurants, pool area and beach area are constantly under a deluge of music, usually turned up to a degree to make it difficult to have a conversation or just drowse in the sun.
We will not return here for that reason but In all other respects I would higly recommend it.
The charm and the warmth of this destination make Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive one of the most attractive hotels in Bahía de Banderas.
The beautiful contemporary Mexican architecture blends the traditional Mexican styles of Jalisco state with the vibrant culture of Puerto Vallarta. The buildings harmonize perfectly with the landscape surrounding the Western Sierra Madre Mountains, and the most beautiful beach in Vallarta. Relax in the shade of the largest thatched-palm ''palapa'' roof in the region, admire the beautiful waterfall, and rest in comfortable rooms, functional suites, in an environment that favors relaxation.
To ensure that your stay is complete, culinary experiences and family fun are included. Savor the moment in our restaurants that will delight you by showcasing both regional and international cuisine.
