Great hotel, great service in a good location , next to bus terminal if you traveling to Cancun .
Excellent breakfast buffet . The rooms are clean and well equipped for business trip of family trip.
I couldn't find any flaws
In a good location. Bed was comfy. Pillows were huge and made my neck hurt. Get softer pillows please. Pool was very nice and not at all crowded. All the staff was nice and friendly. Dony psy extra for the fiesta club. Crappy breakfast, tiny "free beers" for $22 a night more. Not worth it.
Also the restaurant had very crappy food.
Very loud road construction on the street. Get a room over looking the pool, more quite.
Would stay again but wouldn't eat there again.
"Beautiful Merida Hotel"
I stayed 6 nights at the Fiesta Americana in Merida for a scientific conference during the last week In March. The hotel had everything one expects from a luxury hotel.
There was free building-wide wifi, large marble floors throughout, two great bars and two excellent restaurants.
Rooms were nicely appointed but nothing out of the ordinary. But the bathroom was marbled like the rest of the hotel, and the towels were large (and I am large) and soft. The minibar was well stocked. The management and housekeeping service were outstanding. When I arrived, hot and sweaty after a horrible trip including an unexpected night in Houston, and was taken to my room, I found 2 double beds instead of the King I had reserved. I told the bell hop that this was not going to work, tipped him 50 pesos, and asked him to get it straightened out and meet me in the bar with my new room keys.
Done and done. Perfect. The room and bed were comfortable and the temperature was perfectly adjustable despite the 100 degree temperature outside.
I ate at both restaurants and drinks st both bars. The service at both was excellent , and the food and drink was inexpensive and great.
My room rate was a special conference rate that worked out to about $136 per night. In the US, a similarly appointed hotel would have been twice as much.
Overall, a wonderful experience with friendly, prompt and excellent service.
Hotel looked very grand. Great convenient place to stay in order to visit Cabah, Uxmal, Chichen-Itzá and Tulum. Breakfast buffet was very generous. Hotel staff were very helpful. There is great place to shop within the hotel, currency exchange center, transportation center and good restaurants.
We stayed here for a conference. The rooms were spacious and well resourced. Food options at breakfast were substantial. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel has a small mall on the lower level. There is a Walmart across the road for any grocery items you may need.
The majestic Fiesta Americana Mérida rises up at the intersection of Mérida's two most important avenues: Colon and Paseo Montejo, with Porfirian-style architecture that retains an exquisite elegance, together with modernity and technology; elements that ensure a pleasurable stay.An icon of the White City, a meeting point of Merida's society and an attractive destination for vacation and business travelers alike, without a doubt one of the best hotels in Merida, Mexico.
By day or night, the hotel is breathtaking and entering, delights the eye with its elegant lobby decorated with mosaics, a central fountain and armchairs all around inviting to enjoy the elegant atmosphere. The Fiesta Americana Mérida has an adjacent shopping mall, a business center and the South East Industries Club (Club de Industriales del Sureste) which operates through membership.
Its convenient location allows you to reach the airport in 25 minutes and seven minutes from downtown, where you can learn the colonial heritage of the city, listen the Yucatecan trova notes and sample the typical dishes.
