This is a pricey hotel (for Mexican conditions) targeted at upper-class clients. It has a high standard. Specifically, the breakfast menu for 270 pesos is very complete. one of the best I had so far. Only the temperature of the climate econtrol could not be controlled (in several rooms).
"Un oasis en la blanca Mérida"
Great service and accommodations. Very friendly and professional staff. The pool is very relaxing and had a delicious Sunday buffet. Josuè very attentive at the front desk. Thank you. The décor and the ambiance make it very relaxing.
"Buen hotel en merida"
Una excelente opcion si visitas merida, Valet parking, Friendly Staff. Accomodations were very clean and professional staff. A bit over priced, however the service is well worthed, there is other options near by, but this hotel is the best.
"Great place to stay "
Nice , clean with great service.
Bottled water is very expensive at this hotel so I suggest you buy at a Oxxo. The buffet breakfast is also expensive but has a great choice.
If your room is at the back where the swimming pool is, it gets noisy in the morning just before 7am due to the tennis players screaming while playing..... Overall a nice place to stay and with a Walmart walking across so you can get whatever you need for your day or for your room for snacks... FYI do not purchase anything from the mini bar.... A small bag of chips is 50 pesos... Under 5 bucks.
"Good location, small rooms and they have some important problems.."
I stayed at this hotel 4 nights with my 2 daughters (10 & 13) and my wife. The rooms aren´t bad, but small. The rest of the hotel is old.
The service is not bad, but I "lost" my favourites ALDO sandals in my room and nothing happened after I reported.
Somebody from the hotel staff took it, I never make this kind of statements without being sure. Those sandals never saw any street; were used always and only in rooms after I took my shoes off.
Avoid FIESTA AMERICANA Merida. There are many hotels in the area.
The majestic Fiesta Americana Mérida rises up at the intersection of Mérida's two most important avenues: Colon and Paseo Montejo, with Porfirian-style architecture that retains an exquisite elegance, together with modernity and technology; elements that ensure a pleasurable stay.An icon of the White City, a meeting point of Merida's society and an attractive destination for vacation and business travelers alike, without a doubt one of the best hotels in Merida, Mexico.
By day or night, the hotel is breathtaking and entering, delights the eye with its elegant lobby decorated with mosaics, a central fountain and armchairs all around inviting to enjoy the elegant atmosphere. The Fiesta Americana Mérida has an adjacent shopping mall, a business center and the South East Industries Club (Club de Industriales del Sureste) which operates through membership.
Its convenient location allows you to reach the airport in 25 minutes and seven minutes from downtown, where you can learn the colonial heritage of the city, listen the Yucatecan trova notes and sample the typical dishes.
