My wife and I spent five wonderful days in Merida this June 2016. Loved it and can't wait to go back. The Hotel was beautiful, courteous staff and delicious food. The weather was a little to hot but we were told it would be in June. Next trip will likely be in their cooler months of Oct-Feb. Nevertheless, the people were friendly and willing to help you whenever you asked. Felt extremely safe the entire time. Visited Progeso port, Chichen Itza, Mayan World Museum and their modern mall. Truly recommend Merida, Yucatan and definitely stay at Fiesta Americana, you'll love it like we did..
"Wedding in Merida"
Good Hotel for a week end, really nice breakfast buffet , Shopping on the lower floor. Nice Hotel. The hotel offer trip to the cave lake, its about 45 min away and its really worth it! excepte the fact that if you are not mexican you have to pay more!
"Gorgeous hotel and great location"
The hotel is very nice with a mexican traditional atmosphere and its located inside a small mall and just one block from the Paseo Montejo. Service and rooms were great. Try to choose high floor despite Merida is a city with few high buildings it will let you have a view from the city. Food was pretty good. If you have fiesta rewards you will have access to special floor where you can have breakfast and at evening some drinks and snacks. Almost forgetting that bed was just great.
"TRIES HARD TO BE FIRST CLASS"
This hotel is almost first class...It perhaps needs a refit of the rooms to put in better electronics of lighting and bathroom . There was no central light switch . Our electricity failed one night ...the A/C stopped ...They fixed it , but it failed again. No major hassle , but shows they need a refit. Beds very comfy...Concierge knows everything , so that helped. Restaurants excellent. Pool and Jacuzzi well maintained. Big fluffy towels at the pool. NIce touches.
"Great hotel in a great area"
My wife and I spent a few days in Merida and stayed at this hotel. We found the staff to be very helpful and the location great. There are a lot of great restaurants close to the hotel. If you are looking for a nice hotel this may be the one for you.l
The majestic Fiesta Americana Mérida rises up at the intersection of Mérida's two most important avenues: Colon and Paseo Montejo, with Porfirian-style architecture that retains an exquisite elegance, together with modernity and technology; elements that ensure a pleasurable stay.An icon of the White City, a meeting point of Merida's society and an attractive destination for vacation and business travelers alike, without a doubt one of the best hotels in Merida, Mexico.
By day or night, the hotel is breathtaking and entering, delights the eye with its elegant lobby decorated with mosaics, a central fountain and armchairs all around inviting to enjoy the elegant atmosphere. The Fiesta Americana Mérida has an adjacent shopping mall, a business center and the South East Industries Club (Club de Industriales del Sureste) which operates through membership.
Its convenient location allows you to reach the airport in 25 minutes and seven minutes from downtown, where you can learn the colonial heritage of the city, listen the Yucatecan trova notes and sample the typical dishes.
