Huge refurb going on would not stay their until at least June 2017 to be sure the refurb had finished. Heardconstant banging til 19:20.00. Swearing workmen outside my window. The pool was shut as it had rubble in it. The gym has a hole in the roof patched up with black plastic. The staff can't process anything outside the box. Customer service was dreadful. You can't even add a night without going through the rigmarole or making a completely separate booking. You can't put things on your room without a hassle and needing a voucher. Never stay here it is a shambles and quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Not up to international standards at all.
"hotel front desk"
I was told as I was traveling with my husband that the room didn't include breakfast two times and then Oh I am sorry it did. I was kept waiting for this answer twice. It was a long wait and I had come in regards to a medical problem so even longer that I needed. The front desk needs help in being more efficient. The other employees were great. they helped override the front.
"Excellent service and kind people."
I had to travel to Hermosillo for a funeral and did not know where to start looking for a hotel. Of course I decided to ask my Trip Advisor partners and they did not disappoint with their recommendation of the Fiesta Americana Hotel. I loved sharing with my cousins in Mexico where I was staying as they refer to this hotel as their 5 star hotel. The staff was in sync for the entire time we were at the hotel. Nice bar area to relax as they have the air conditioning working nicely when it is steaming outside. When you arrive make sure you ask for Emmanuel or Mariana they are always in a good mood. Lorenzo at the buffet was very cool and even offered to make me a specialty morning smoothie. All this comes together with the leadership of Diego Bustamente the GM. I was very impressed with the staff as they did not need to be asked what to do and were always attentive to our needs. When we walked near the elevator an employee walking the opposite direction acknowledged us, but then walked back to open the elevator. I thought that was classy. Didn't need to be asked, but just did it. I called that the Ritz experience in Hermosillo. I was also very impressed with the pool area and the workout room. Free hand weights, elliptical, treadmill, and an all in one workout machine. Thank you for a pleasant stay when we needed to be in Hermosillo for an unfortunate event.
"A good place after a long day"
We arrived very late and tired, and the quick and friendly check in was much appreciated. The rooms were comfortable, as were the beds (and the pillows!). The air conditioning was perfect, which important in this town. Wifi was fast and free of course. Breakfast was what you would expect in a hotel of this kind, but was in our case not included in the price. The check out was as efficient as the check in and the hotel taxi service was friendly and comfortable.
If on business in Hermosillo, this is a good choice!
"Good Value, Friendly Service"
Most everyone spoke English. Food service could be faster and the waiter/leader serving in the dining room was too worried about the check then about our experience. The other staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. The front counter people got together and figured out a great day trip for me to San Carlos, an hour and 15 minute drive to beautiful beaches and great water activities.
