Fiesta Americana Hacienda San Antonio El Puente Cuernavaca
Location #1 of 3 hotels in Xochitepec
Certificate of Excellence 2015
Summary of qualifications
Grounds are simply gorgeous! Beautiful place for a wedding. About two hour drive from Mexico City airport. If you don't know Spanish, communication will be challenging, very few staff speak English. The food was great. Be sure to see the nearby Mayan ruins if you have time.
"Beautiful place, sadly I a stomach illness ruined the weekend"
This is a truly beautiful place, the hotel and grounds are breathtaking. We also probably had the best room in the hotel, with a huge king bed and corner with a private terrace. A gorgeous red brick vault ceiling. The way the tree roots take over parts of the original construction dating back 400 years and the way some walls are kept in their original state is magnificent.
Unfortunately both my wife and I ate something there that made our weekend and experiment in patience and stomach pain.
The restaurant is beautiful and outdoors to take advantage of the wonderful weather, unfortunately they have speakers nearby from the karaoke bar on the other side of the Hacienda. Why would they do this? If I want to listen to karaoke, I will go to the karaoke bar or buffet dinner next to it. Please don't ruin the atmosphere in the nice restaurant by funnelling the singing there.
I will return because the Hacienda deserves a second chance, I do hope the food is up to standard and there isn't a repeat infection.
"Beautiful yet with very poor service"
I have to start by saying that the venue is unbelievably beautiful. It was formerly a sugar factory with the look and feel of a hispanic hacienda that was succesfully renewed no long ago.
However, there is not good value in the service and the quality of the products you get out of what you pay. The food is average in taste and pricey, the rooms are pricey and old with no particular amenities or features of a five stars hotel.
I'd go for a brunch visit to enjoy a walk in the beautiful place however I don't think is worth a stay.
Recently traveled with my wife and a my toddler this hotel is framed in an antique hacienda so the landscape is inmersed in a rustic and colonial ambience.
The place is absolutely gorgeous, surrounded by enormous gardens and full of flowers. The service is great as well-known from Fiesta Americana brand.
The hotel is located in Xochitepec, Morelos, about 40 minutes driving distance from Cuernavaca downtown so be ready to have a retreat away from the city and enjoy the hotel. The hotel has a big climatized pool surrounded by the colonial architecture of the hacienda, it's really charming.
Definetively recommend this hotel, the service, the rooms and the food are great (they food an beverages service could be pricey but it really worth it).
I hope to be back there soon.
"Beautiul and Relaxing"
We visited this hacienda with family for a delightful day. We had breakfast under a canopy of umbrellas in the courtyard and later walked around the grounds to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The staff is friendly and helpful and the whole area is very peaceful and relaxing. The pool is amazing with a tall grotto structure that even provides some shade for those who do not want too much sun and there was entertainment and music.
The hotel offers many ways to relax, entertain and have fun. Stroll through the gardens and be amazed by their breadth and abundance. Take a dip in the pool, unwind in the Jacuzzi or simply take in an afternoon read at the Hortensia Buenrostro Library, an enchanting place where sturdy and comfortable chairs await. We have a game room for our guests entertainment in a family atmosphere with pool tables, ping pong and foosball.
