We visited Hacienda Galindo for a friend's wedding which was hosted in one of its Patios (the one with the huge tree in the middle). We had a welcome dinner the night we arrived, followed by some drinks at the bar. The prices of the alcohol bottles in the bar were super high, so we drove to a nearby corner shop to buy our own drinks. Buffet breakfast was delicious, lots to choose from. We spent the day walking through the hotel, going to the pool (which is big compared to many non-beach hotels I've been to) and the little farm within the hotel grounds. The setting is spectacular for pictures, everything is so nice.
Be aware of the prices for the mini bar and even water bottles in your room, which are not included in the nightly rate.
Other than that, this is a very nice hotel.
This is a well recommended Hotel and the service is excellent I strongly recommend this Hotel to anyone and especially to all corporate travel well located Staff is very polite friendly. The food is excellent , Hotel has a car service to bring you to the city center and to the suburbs to where you are going to work
"Great place to rest"
This is a great place to get rest and totally disconnect of the city life. The building is an historic Hacienda previously owned by the "Malinche" as a gift from Hernan Cortes. It's a beautiful place surrounded by lots of gardens and trees, also has a huge pool and the hotel host the most delicious sunday brunch i ever had.
Definetively you hav to try this hotel, the quality of service and the helpfulness of the staff is outstanding.
The room furniture as well of the carpets needs an update, but nothing to worry about. This is my third visit to this place and enjoyed as the first time. Thumbs up!
"A bit expensive but well worth it"
We spend the best new year at the hacienda. We loved the dinner-party organized at the hotel and the amenities and service are great. We were even able to swim on the heated outdoor pool so overall very happy experience. The brunch buffet is amazing!
"If you want to take a day's walk, come over"
This hotel has a big lovely garden, I had a blast walking around with my baby. Food wasn't mind blowing, I have to warn you, but it's a beautiful place to walk around if you have a day off. They serve buffet on weekends, but make sure you arrive before noon for their breakfast buffet, lunch isn't as good as breakfast.
The hotel offers all types of activities: swimming in the large pool with paddling pool, sunbathing while sipping a drink or cocktail, walking around the large gardens, playing tennis, soccer, five-a-side soccer, volleyball, basketball, mini-golf or working out in the gym. For the kids, the gardens are an adventure worth exploring, as well as the small stable where they can learn about domestic animals. The Fiesta Kids Club has prepared an activity program to keep them busy and entertained, so their parents can relax. The surrounding paths are perfect for bike or horse rides or for exhilarating walks. The Mexican provincial air and aromas are ideal for a relaxed stay. The hotel also offers massage services and for golfers, there is the Querenda course, the best in the area.
