The entire property is stunningly beautiful. Not in a Las Vegas or Abu Dabi kind of way. In a walking into living history kind of way. The oldest parts of the buildings were built in the 1500s. The newest construction is 200-300 years old. Updates of modern plumbing, cable TV and ceiling fans are present but they have maintained the old world feel and original architecture.
"Great hotel for kids and accessible for wheelchairs"
Very accessible for wheelchair users and great facilities for kids (super pool, farm with animals, playground). Amazing breakfast buffet. There were two wedding when we were there but we still had access to all the amenities and the noise wasn't so bad.
"What a Treat!"
Hacienda Galindo was a surprise treat. Although it was far from our city of origination, it was worth the trip. We spent 4 days and 3 nights and I would consider this one of the more memorable business trips I have attended. The place was gorgeous, full of history, and the staff were hospitable.
"Somewhat pricey but worth every penny"
We visited Hacienda Galindo for a friend's wedding which was hosted in one of its Patios (the one with the huge tree in the middle). We had a welcome dinner the night we arrived, followed by some drinks at the bar. The prices of the alcohol bottles in the bar were super high, so we drove to a nearby corner shop to buy our own drinks. Buffet breakfast was delicious, lots to choose from. We spent the day walking through the hotel, going to the pool (which is big compared to many non-beach hotels I've been to) and the little farm within the hotel grounds. The setting is spectacular for pictures, everything is so nice.
Be aware of the prices for the mini bar and even water bottles in your room, which are not included in the nightly rate.
Other than that, this is a very nice hotel.
This is a well recommended Hotel and the service is excellent I strongly recommend this Hotel to anyone and especially to all corporate travel well located Staff is very polite friendly. The food is excellent , Hotel has a car service to bring you to the city center and to the suburbs to where you are going to work
The hotel offers all types of activities: swimming in the large pool with paddling pool, sunbathing while sipping a drink or cocktail, walking around the large gardens, playing tennis, soccer, five-a-side soccer, volleyball, basketball, mini-golf or working out in the gym. For the kids, the gardens are an adventure worth exploring, as well as the small stable where they can learn about domestic animals. The Fiesta Kids Club has prepared an activity program to keep them busy and entertained, so their parents can relax. The surrounding paths are perfect for bike or horse rides or for exhilarating walks. The Mexican provincial air and aromas are ideal for a relaxed stay. The hotel also offers massage services and for golfers, there is the Querenda course, the best in the area.
