We had a very good short stay on floor 19 of this hotel, with wonderful views over Guadalajara. Staff very friendly and helpful, and food (both room service and breakfast buffet) was good, with generous portions. The bed was amazingly comfy! And the baby crib we had requested was brand new and of good quality (not so in some hotels we have stayed in). The only downside, as with many hotels of this type/age in Mexico, was the bathroom, which was a bit dated. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation, but this didn't create any noise or inconvenience.
If you are there on a Sunday you can walk from the hotel down Av. Vallarta as it is closed to traffic from 8-2pm and full of bikes and pedestrians - a nice way to see the city.
"Happy Birthday Trip!!!"
Large rooms, comfortable and at a great price, excellent service. It is located centrally in one of the best areas of Guadalajara, easy access to wherever you want to go to meet. Restaunates and close to good shopping, excellent for shopping. Although it was under remodeling or seescucua absolutely no noise in the room.
"Exceptional quality and service"
Everything was perfect. The service was exceptional from the moment I walked in... at the front desk, luggage assistance, restaurant, etc. My room was very spacious and comfortable, good air conditioning, great shower, very clean.
"Renovations are affecting service, however it will be a jewel once it's done if..."
The hotel renovation is at full speed. All areas are changing and rooms are very modern and stylish.
However, room 1026, when I arrived, the ac was only running in vent mode, room was hot, minibar disconnected, and i found a dirty plate inside it, which i didn't use.
The minibar was never filled, I had to call the front desk 2 times, to get it filled only to be asked If i had given a deposit??? How did i get the room if they have my credit card then? I didnt pay cash.
The bed is amazing, and the way the room was furnished was in excellent taste.
Bottom line, managers at the hotel need to get the DETAILS fixed, details details details!
My fiesta americana platinum status was also not recognized...
Excellent, very spacious rooms; very friendly and prompt staff; good restaurants in the hotel and in the area; amazing views from rooms and elevators. Only little minor issue is the water pressure on the top floors, should be improved.
Fiesta Americana Guadalajara is ideal for relaxation or for enjoying the various recreational activities. Its location, in downtown Guadalajara, offers various experiences: from the traditional flavor of Zapopan and Tlaquepaque, to museums, excellent restaurants and one of the country's most beautiful historical centers.
