My wife, myself, and her parents stayed at this hotel in May. We absolutely loved it!
Very good service. The food was good. Didn't have to wait for much of anything. The snorkeling off the beach was great.
We just got back from a 6 day stay at the Fiesta Americana All Inclusive Cozumel resort. It wasn't exactly as I was expecting...IT WAS BETTER! The service was outstanding, from the wait staff, bartenders, and servers to the housekeeping staff and everyone else at the resort. Our boys kept room service busy! The restaurants had a small resort ambience with ample menu choices and REALLY GOOD FOOD! No reservations are necessary at any of the restaurants and there's pretty much no waiting to be seated. As for our Master King Suite, it was clean, spacious and afforded my fiancé and I plenty of private space with a separate bedroom and bath. The views from the balcony were stunning!!
If you're looking for a big resort with a private beach, don't come here..this is a smaller resort with a man made beach. Awesome snorkeling and swimming in the clear water, lots of sea life, with the steps to access the water right next to our over the water sun bed! Parasailing, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling are just some of the activities at this resort, or if you want to just relax by the water and catch some rays, it's all here!!!
We are definitely going back next year and bringing with us 7 of our favorite people (Brother and his family)
First of all for the price it is a great deal. I can't talk enough about the amazing service we received from everyone! The entire staff were extremely hard working! I was amazed that even though it was all inclusive, that people were not still tipping? They were so appreciative when we tipped them! The food was really good everywhere. The lassana was the best I ever had! We went there 3 nights, because it was so good! The entertainment was awesome! The dancers were very talented! The snorkeling was really good just out from the hotel! It was also nice that the boats to take you on snorkeling or diving trips, come right to the hotel pier. We will probably return again!
"Amazing time at Fiesta American Cozumel"
My family of five stayed at this beautiful all-inclusive hotel for 8 nights and 9 days. Our kids ages 9,11, and 12 had a fantastic time. The staff at the hotel go beyond your expectations in making your stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you for the following staff: Lisa (Concierge), Arturo and Eduardo at the Italian restaurant, Miguel (room service), Armando, Vale, Majo, and Joshua (Pool and Entertainment staff). The hotel has three restaurants (Italian, Asian, and Mexican) which were all great to dine at. The sushi at the corner and across from the Asian restaurant was actually very good and ate there a few times. No waiting and no need for reservations at the three restaurants mentioned. The food is amazing at all three restaurants. The fish shack at the beach is a must try, great ceviches, fish tacos, fried fish, soup, etc. The hamburger shack at the beach served great burgers, hot dogs, wings, etc. The Grill buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner but it is open with no A/C. We didn't particularly like this restaurant as there was too many flies around the buffet area and didn't eat there much. The nightly shows also take place around this restaurant. The pool area is clean and you can always find chairs and does not feel crowded as other hotels. The snorkeling right off the premises was outstanding. First time took the family snorkeling and we all fell in love!! Shout out the life guards for helping my nine year old daughter with her cut on her left foot. The lifeguards took extra care cleaning her foot and bandaging her foot for three days until the wound got better. Thank you Lifeguards!!
I rented a jeep for the entire stay and took a tour of the island. St.Martin beach is a must see and the beach there is beautiful! There are lots of nice beaches on the east side of the island so it’s definitely worth the trip out there. Snorkeling was great at the hotel and other areas of the island. Make sure you have small denominations in pesos when shopping downtown and always park in a paid parking area. If you plan on shopping don’t forget that it’s all about haggling in the bazaars.
I would highly recommend you arrange transportation ahead of arrival. If you rent a vehicle make sure to do a thorough recording of the vehicle before you take it off the lot and have every little dints or marks documented on the paperwork. Always park in paid parking areas in downtown.
Great time on this beautiful island!
"Good and Bad"
First the good. The staff, food and drinks were very good. We tipped our servers every day and they took great care of our group. The quality of food and drinks were very good. Juan and Karla (pool bar), Marcos, Miguel (restaurants), Majo, Joshua (entertainment) were all great! All of the staff was very polite and kind. We were able to board our snorkeling boat at the pier next to the hotel. Awesome! Now for the bad. We were surprised how run down some of the facilities were at this hotel for the ratings it has received. The exterior of the building needs painting, the pool is moldy with missing tiles, the pool is dirty and filtration is below par, one elevator didn't work all week (there are 2), the stairwells and hallways were dirty and the bugs and flies were bad. There isn't much to do at the resort and the spa was below par. We overlooked the bad and still had a great time but sadly won't be back. The quality of other all inclusive resorts we have been to in the Riviera Maya area are so much better!
