My friend ordered this hotel for our Cancun trip, first time to Cancun don't know what to expect, but the hotel is surprisedly clean and beach is so nice!! everything is inclusive so we didn't pay anything. there is a nice sushi station and few different restaurants and staffs are very nice!
Clean, excellent service, delicious food, great music and shows. Juan Jose (JJ) in the buffet area was an outstanding waiter!
The only issue we had was that there are no games for adults-ping pong, pool tables, shuffleboard, etc. However, we did enjoy the nightly shows and live music.
We were not hounded about timeshares.
"Very nice hotel with good food and large pool"
The hotel was very nice, clean. The employees were extremely friendly. Tips you give are nice and well received but they didn’t expect them. Pool very large and nice. Evening entertainment nice, some shows better than others. I would have liked to see a little more activities during the day but the place was relaxing. Rooms large enough. We had a double, lagoon view. Food was plentiful. Italian and steak house really good in my opinion. Don’t stress too much about dress code...you know how that ends up. They’re doing construction for new lounge/bar in the lobby. A bit noisy but even that not too big a deal to us.
"Would visit again "
Great budget hotel for all inclusive. We really liked the buffet for breakfast and lunch. We didn’t care much for the restaurants that required a wait list (Italian) and reservations (Steakhouse).
Beach and pools very nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Drinks very good.
We did notice that this is family friendly even at the steakhouse, so not very romantic meals! We have children, but didn’t bring them on this trip. We were expecting more ambience in restaurants and not crying loud children. Maybe they could create an adult restaurant for these occasions?
Spa and spa massage was good.
Room was comfortable. At check in, we did find that our room was missing a balcony as we expected via our Expedia reservation. We also received a room with a non working phone and beeping smoke detectors. We asked for another room and it wasn’t a problem.
We were a group of 8 - stayed for 1 week.
Pros: This was my first time at this resort. The rooms were great and air conditioner worked for us all week. Although the bed sheets and blankets were damp some times of the week, it was bearable (we didn't let it ruin our vaca). Food selection is great! Many restaurants and snack bars to choose from (sushi station, shrimp and fish tacos were amazing!!!!, calamari, etc..). The pools were not over packed and restaurants did not need reservations (and they were still able to seat us). Concierge treated us well, easy check in. Staff was great, room service was quick, great resort overall.
Cons: The "sports bar" that is open until 2am... the bartender there did not seem like he wanted to serve us. At one point he was telling us "no more beer".. it was 11pm. We moved to the lobby bar since the staff there was much nicer.
Blankets and sheets were damp some days of the week.
Overall, the resort is great for families and it was very kid-friendly. If you are an adults group, I'd choose a different resort. We had fun though!
