This place was top notch....this is our tenth trip to Mexico, so we have others for comparison. The food was absolutely the best I have ever had at an all inclusive....the fish tacos are to die for! We had a party of 14 adults, so a few nights before the trip, our travel agent called and said the resort was offering to upgrade us to Aqua Live, a sister resort that is adults only because Fiesta Americana was having some construction in one of the towers. Upon reading trip advisor reviews of Aqua Live, we decided that it was probably a bit too zen and quiet for this group, so we decided to stay at Fiesta Americana, and boy were we glad we did. Fun around the pool and swim up bar, beautiful beaches, and amazing food....what more could you ask for? The construction was no big deal and I look forward to returning soon. My favorite Mexico resort to date!
"3rd time to Cancun"
I must say this place had the most friendly services out of all 3 resort I stayed (another ones are now Jade and now sapphire).
The foods were very good, especially the steak house, we love breakfast buffet but not dinner one.
Their servers were awesome, especially JJ in the breakfast buffet, he had so many tricks to entertained us.
The only thing I complained of was the lobby, it was too hot, we couldnt stay too long.
I never write reviews but had 11 great nights at this resort that I had to. The hotel is undergoing some construction but this did not dampen or effect our holiday at all. The resort is spotless and in very good condition. All of the restaurants serve food that is of a high standard and delicious, especially the shrimp tacos. What really makes this resort is the very hardworking and friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your holiday. A special shout out to Adrian and the entertainment team, Jose who served us drinks by the pool, Carlos and Eifram. The manager was even speaking to guests to see if they needed anything. Upon checking out at 12, we were allowed to continue using our all inclusive wrist bands until out pick up later in the day. I would highly recommend this resort and would definitely return.
"Something for Everyone"
My family (husband and I, and 2 daughters ages 18 and 4) spent 9 days at Condesa in May. This was our third time in Cancun and our fifth all-inclusive and we couldn't be happier. The service was amazing but it always has been in Mexico. We arrived early in the day expecting to store our bags and hang out by the pool until we could check in but there was a room available so we were able to get settled right away which was nice since we had taken a red eye and had been traveling all night. Upon arriving in the room, we found the mini-fridge had frozen and a soda had exploded inside. We called the desk right away and within 10 minutes, people were there cleaning it out and replacing the drinks inside and the entire refrigerator was replaced about an hour later. Room service was always prompt and courteous. We never had any other interaction with housekeeping as we were always in the pool or on the beach when they came, but they did a great job tidying up and we had no complaints. The entire hotel ran out of mint for about 2 days so no mojitos during that time which was kind of a bummer but it forced me to switch things up a bit and it wasn't a big deal for us. The waitstaff and bartenders throughout were awesome. The entertainment staff were a lot of fun and did a great job at getting people to participate. They do yoga on the beach in the early morning, zumba poolside, water aerobics, and a variety of pool games every day. The evening shows are really good and a lot of fun and there is live music and dancing in the lobby bar after the show each night. We enjoyed a few evenings hanging out in lobby playing cards. The kid's club staff are awesome and allow all of the kids to participate in the activities even if they are not signed in to the club. Our 4 year old only went to the club for one morning but enjoyed playing games with the other kids in the kids pool every day.
The food here is really good! Most all-inclusives have mediocre food, that is just the way it is and that is really all that should be expected. The fare is typical for an all-inclusive but the quality far exceeds any of the other places we have been. I'm not sure what they do different, but they need to keep on doing it. It was a very pleasant surprise. We only ate at one of the al a carte places, mexican for dinner, because my husband did not bring a button up shirt, so no matter your previous experience, they stick to the dress code here. Anyway, I cannot attest to the other restaurants but I'm sure they are awesome as well. The little deli/cafe/ice cream shop inside the store is really awesome and a fun touch, they have espresso drinks and depending on the time of day an assortment of donuts and pastries or desserts along with prepackaged sandwiches, salads and fruit cup type stuff. Oh, and ice cream! Soft serve chocolate, vanilla, and swirl. A lot of people complain about liquor being watered down, I just simply don't believe that. I suppose with the wells, it's a possibility but I always order brand specific and have seen them break the seal on a bottle and pour it straight into the glass on more than one occasion and if they're doing it on more costly bottles, I can't imagine they would bother with the cheap stuff.
The room service menu is by far the largest I've seen at an all-inclusive thus far and the food is equally as good as anywhere else.
The rooms are on the smaller side but was adequate for my family. We don't spend much time in the room when we're in Mexico so I'm just fine with a shower and spot to rest my head. If you are planning to spend a bunch of time in your room, this may not be the place for you. The vanity is open to the rest of the room with the toilet and bathtub/shower enclosed behind the door, and it is a pretty tight fit. The balcony is also pretty small, just enough room for the 2 chairs and small table that they have there. The beds weren't the greatest of any hotel I've stayed at but not the worst either. They were more than adequate though. The pillows are pretty flat but that seems to be a growing trend for all hotels. They are good about bringing more if you need them.
The beach, of course, is awesome. The pools show their age but they are clean and well maintained. The "hot tubs" were not even remotely warm and could use some work. I was wondering if they were cold on purpose but never bothered to ask and no one ever mentioned anything about them. It didn't look like they were maintained as well as the rest of the property though.
There is a very diverse population of guests but things are spread out enough that you can find something that suits you and it is possible to relax by the pool without being disturbed by the ruckus happening at the lower pool with the bar and near the kids pool.
I will definitely consider returning for a future trip.
Thank you Rosy Andrea and Carolina l enjoyed it a lot I will miss you. iza
