Stayed one night on a business trip. Large room, air conditioner worked properly, plenty of plugs to recharge electronics, internet fast, slept through breakfast so I cannot rate the restaurant (the rest of my group had no complaints).
"The service is excellent"
The service is excellent, employees are very friendly and all my three week stayed I got what I want even before I asked, those people are an angles, thank to everybody and I appreciate their great afforded help.
"Great hotel / Great Service"
I am amazed each time I stay at Fiesta Americanan Aguascalientes on how they maintain such a high level of service. This stay was exceptional even though they have many new staff memebers to prepare for the La Ferria. The hotel is located in a very safe area. I actaully visit a park behind the hotel that provides a nice shaded walk and you truly get to experience the feel of Mexico.
"Very good stay. Hotels needs some renovations"
The room I had was very clean and very spacy. The faucet in the shower needs some update. It is loos and you can over turn it.
The breakfast is very good. You have a big choice of food. You have to take your time if you want have a egg cocked by the order. the lady can only prepare one by the time.
"Very nice front desk staff, food poisoning from their restaurant"
We recently stayed here, 6 people, 3 rooms. Upon arrival the front desk gal was extremely nice. She offered us an upgrade, mentioning more amenities, a bigger room, an executive floor. We took it. We never got the mentioned amenities, the floor is no different than the others, but for a bowl of apples in the hallway. Our room was facing a side street and at the night the bar noise was unbearable. The next morning we asked to be moved away from the street and to a "normal" room, no upgrade. Well what do you know it was the same exact room, minus the cheap toothbrush and 2 oz. toothpaste. A subtle confirmation to me that often these upsells are complete bogus and just a way to get an extra $12 per night from us.
And then we ate at their buffet the next morning. 5 of us had the buffet, 1 lucky one had a bowl of oatmeal. She did not get sick. The others, wow. We all had diarrhea, chills, fevers and 2 were incredibly ill for the next 36 hours. 1 ended up in the hospital, another calling the pharmacy for some medication. We informed the front desk upon check out and while they apologized, they did not take responsibility. The squeakiest wheel of the group got the buffet charges for 2 removed, but the hotel did not offer to do the same for the others. In my opinion that was completely unacceptable, especially since the others were the party that had one person in the hospital and they got stuck not only with the inconvenience, but with all the medical bills.
In all fairness the hotel is nice. Make sure to ask for a room that does not face the bars, and stay clear of the buffet.
